Well I was going to post something on the Arena about this when I realized that we did actually work out a spot at the lake to have it.
So which area are we all inclinded to meet at? My friend Google Maps says our choices are Townsend Pl (closest to the bus interchange), the road off Joyton Smith Drive (has more lake and thus, ducks and evil swans) or Diddams Cl.

Off Joyton Smith is the nicer area. Townsend at John Knight Memorial Park isn't too bad. Diddums doesn't have much in the way of amenities so I vote not there.

Lol I was just thinking the same thing after I texted you last night redd.
I say John Knight, just cause I actually don't know what you're talking about other wise. Although isn't there a lot of building going on over that way at the moment?

I've just checked the weather forecast for the weekend and at the moment it looks like we're in for some drizzle but otherwise the temp. is fine. At this stage do we just want to stick with the Lake and hope it doesn't affect us? The only other thing I can think of is that if it gets too much to bare, we relocate to the McDonald's across from Lake Ginninderra College.
The building is going on on the road next to the enterance to the lake, Eevee. The other Joyton Smith side of the lake is a bigger area and has lots of picnic areas.
Here is a little list of things people might want to bring since it's only a few days away now (yay!).
Your lunch for the day. If you want to bring a picnic rug, feel free to. I think I will be. Anything you want to sell or trade. Ponies you want to show off. Your thinking caps and any ideas you might have for the fair.
I'll be bringing a folder with things we need to think about and a book to write things down in. I don't want the planning of the fair to overtake the pony picnic so I think it's best we leave it light-hearted but focused. I think that if we can work out a plan of what needs to be done, when it needs to be done by and possibly deligate tasks then we'll be well on our way.

Well that's all sorted then, this Sunday, 1 o'clock. Do we want to meet somewhere near the car park? I'll be the person with the MLP handbag and probably a box of some description for my sell and trade items. I'll stick a picture of a pony of the side of it so you won't be able to miss me!
I'll post this all on the Arena now just in case there is anyone nearby who wants to come on short notice.
