I recently got Goldilocks. She still has her original curl but it's a bit feral! I've not tried to curl their hair before or fix it up,Any tips? ;D

First wash and comb out all the tangles (if you don't mind re-doing the original curl), then if it's still a little wild at the ends run it though a low temp hair straightener with the conditioner still in. If this doesn't work then I don't know what will - you could try searching through the Arena or go to the tips/tutorials section.

i have the same problem buttons but as its original i'm going to leave it, seems you can never quite copy an original curl

That's true, it just depends on if it bothers you that much to completely re-do her hair or not. Personally, I'd leave it.

I've had a Goldilocks with the same problem for a few months now. I just decided to leave it, but i would like to tame and recurl it one day as she doesn't have much of her original curl left.

If you wash the hair in cold water or slightly warm water gently and dry it by scrunching it/patting it dry with a towel right away as opposed to letting it drip dry, it should maintain most of it's curl. I would let her dry on her side so the weight of her wet hair doesn't lower the curl.
