i'm not sure about down in tassie but ut cost $9.99 for one of those newbowns, what a rip off hey, i myself thought of selling my g3's and only keeping the nice ones like anchors away etc but i dunno yet The price is actually another thing for me. The only place stocking the newborns here is a sort of independent type toy store (Target haven't got them yet) and they're charging $12!!!!! Kmart normally have the best range down here but they are stuck out a few suburbs over and it's a right pain to go there much and we don't have a TRU. My local Coles have the name on legs and when the appeared they were $6 so I grabbed Rainbow Dash (of course the only one they didn't have was Sweetiebelle!) and the next week they put them up to $12 needless to say she didn't get any friends lol Myer are the same - $60 for the inspiration set and I think $50 for the Rainbow Dash house I can get lots of G1s for that!

I don't even bother looking in Kmart, Target or Big W anymore. Pony wise they never have anything or what they do have is not worth buying.

Our Target are sooooooo behind now and the shelving for MLP has been condensed into one little area jammed inbetween the Neopets and LPS. I finally found a newborn Sweetiebelle though and HAD to buy her even if she was a little exxy. They only had one of her and the lady wasn't sure if they'd be getting in any more stock so she came home with me

my local Myers now has the Scootaloo on the bike and pinkie pie party with the bonus dress ups.I agree though, the new line looks fugly and the core 7 is boring. My daughter loves pinkie pie but how many of the same pony do Hasbro really think parents will buy?

I've found my locals to be quite good at keeping stock. Though there almost seems to be an 'exclusive' side of things. Only Kmart had the Newborn Cuties for a while. Only Big W has the Ponyville runway Styles. So I have to look in Kmart, Target and Big W everytime i go to the shops. I do wish we had had the Valentines though. I did get the Easter ones at Toy Kingdom in Fountain Gate. I grabbed them so fast my kids were a little in shock.

It's funny really, but I am sort of happy that Hasbro has changed to their new line. Reason? Everyone hates it! LOL. Yes, I look forward to the day that Hasbro decides to stop producing G3s (including the Bore 7 and Newborn Cuties). After all, we know that they'll just bring out a G4 line a few years down the track. It's exciting to think of the NEW and actually ORIGINAL and EXCITING designs that new G4s may bring.

I only just bought 3 of the cuties. It took me a really long time to warm up to them and I was the same way about Ponyville. I only have a few now and I would only ever buy them in the original form. I wonder what made Hasbro go in the direction they have decided to go this year. I do understand the Core 7 concept but the large heads and weird hair thing just isn't for me.
